This project is a partnership between NAF and the New York Department of Education and included an extensive co-design process where NAF Educators and select NYC Educators gave us invaluable feedback and piloted the lessons in their classrooms during the Spring of 2022. Throughout this document, you will find quotes from some of these teachers and their students.
This experiment has students create a gesture recognition system using Google’s Teachable Machine in order to identify a variety of facial expressions, or “moods”.
