Multi-pathway
Passport Expeditions are authentic project-based learning activities that support learners' transfer of content knowledge by applying what they learned to solve challenges that impact their career field or community. Learners become enthusiastic about creating solutions as they exercise voice and choice in their learning by embarking on a self-selected passion project to demonstrate content proficiency and professional competencies by innovating tangle products and solutions.
By design, expeditions are open-ended to foster learner interest and enthusiasm while promoting inquiry, perseverance, problem-solving, and innovative thinking to solve real-world problems that interest them. A significant component is pairing learners with an industry mentor to support them through their Expedition.
