Pathways
Use this guide to understand each data field and/or component of the WBL Participation Tracker.
Used to add an activity to the WBL Participation Tracker
Activity Title - Name of the activity taking place. It should be descriptive and identifiable by both educator(s) and student(s). This will be the identifier for students when completing the WBL Reflection Form.
Date Range - The start and end date of the activity. Select one calendar day if the activity took place over one day or class period.
Days - The actual number of days the activity took place between the start and end date.
Hours - The actual number of contact hours a student participated in the activity.
Where did this activity take place?
In-person - An activity where participants are together in the same space.
Virtual - An activity where participants are meeting in a virtual space.
Hybrid - An activity where participants are both in-person and meeting virtually.
Primary Activity - The main activity that took place; will generate a WBL Reflection Form. *College Fair, College Visit, Other will not generate a WBL Reflection Form.
Secondary Activity - Any additional activity that may be part of the main activity; do not include the primary activity again.
Academies that Participated - Any academy that participated in the activity.
Companies/Organizations/Institutions - Any companies, organizations, or institutions involved in the activity; usually the host or facilitator of the activity.
Persons Involved - Any professional directly in contact with students during the activity; include first and last name.
Description - A short description of the activity that will help collaborators understand the goals and objectives of the activity.
Used to view an activity that was added to the WBL Participation Tracker
Created By - The person who created the activity; has full permissions for the activity entry including adding academies, adding students, editing, copying, archiving/unarchiving, activating/deactivating, and uploading files.
Contributor - A person with permission to view and copy an activity, upload students, and upload files.
Copy - Duplicate an activity entry including all data fields except students; creators and collaborators have permission to copy activities.
Edit - The ability to make changes to an activity; only creators have permissions to make edits.
Archive - An activity that is archived cannot be seen in the default list view on the participation tracker home page; use the filters on the home page to view archived activities; data is shared to the dashboards; only creators have permission to archive.
Unarchive - An activity that is not archived can be seen in the default list view on the participation tracker home page; data is shared to the dashboards; only creators have permission to unarchive.
Active - An activity that is active can be seen in the default list view on the participation tracker home page; data is shared to the dashboards; only creators have permission to activate.
Deactivate - An activity that is deactivated cannot be seen in the default list view on the participation tracker home page; use the filters on the home page to view non-active activities. Data is NOT shared to the dashboard; only creators have permission to deactivate.
More Data - A link to the main data page that includes general activity and participation data; the page also includes links to more detailed data pages.
Upload Files - Attach files related to the activity; creators and collaborators have permission to upload files.
Add All Students - Ability to add all students in the current student list view.
Remove All Students - Ability to remove all students in the current student list view; students who filled out the WBL Reflection Form will not be removed.
Used to view aggregated results from all activities entered in the WBL Participation Tracker.
Results - Link to the main results page that includes general activity and participation data; also includes links to more detailed data pages.
Activities Overview - Overview of activity data; ability to filter and download data.
Student Overview - Overview of student participation data; ability to filter and download data.
Individual Student Progress - View WBL progress for individual students.
Internships - Link to the Internship Report in NAFTrack; sign in required.
