Business tourism is a more limited and focused subset of regular tourism. During business tourism, individuals are still working and being paid but are doing so away from both their workplace and home. This project explores specific segments of the business tourism industry. Initial registration is required for access.
The Tourism industry is very complicated and wide. Many often combine travel and tourism. Travel and Tourism are two separate industries. Travel deals with getting people from one place to another: The transportation part.
However, tourism deals with what people do once they arrive at their destination. There are several sectors the tourism industry is broken into. During this project, four areas of the tourism industry will be explored: Attractions, Events, Conventions, and Convention and Visitor Bureaus.
